What is the effect of incorporation of the USA Clause Paramount into bills of lading issued under the charter party? 9. How is general average to be adjusted under the charter party? Does the charter party contain a Jason Clause? Explain why? 10. Is an address commission payable? To whom and based upon what? 11. What about broker’s commission. By whom and based upon what? 12. When does laytime commence following tender of Notice of Readiness? 17. Who pays for the costs of loading and discharging the vessel (note that there are various options available)? 18. How much notice must owners give to charterers of the expected readiness to load date. What else must owners provide with the notice? 19.
